Puppies in the UK need two rounds of core vaccinations — typically at 6–8 weeks and 10–12 weeks. This covers parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and kennel cough. Microchipping is done at the second appointment. After the primary course, annual boosters are required to maintain immunity. All of this is included in your Snoots membership.
Microchipping is a legal requirement for all dogs in the UK and must be done before 8 weeks of age by the breeder, or as soon as possible after you bring your puppy home. Your Snoots vet will microchip your puppy at their first or second visit — included as standard.
Timing depends on breed and size. Small breeds can often be neutered from around 6 months; larger breeds may benefit from waiting until 12–18 months. Your Snoots vet will recommend the right timing at one of your early visits. The procedure is included in your membership.
Puppies need a complete puppy food appropriate for their breed size — the nutritional requirements of a Chihuahua and a Great Dane are very different. Your Snoots vet will give you tailored dietary advice at your first visit.
In the first year, most puppies will have two scheduled vaccine appointments plus additional visits if they get sick or you have concerns. With Snoots, there's no extra cost for coming in — so if something seems off, just book. Book online or via WhatsApp.
A full puppy vaccination course in London typically costs £120–£180, plus £60–£100 per annual booster visit, plus the consultation fee each time. With Snoots, the entire vaccination schedule for your puppy's first year — and every year after — is included in the £30/month membership.
Yes — regular flea and worm treatment is important from puppyhood. Your Snoots vet will advise on the right products and schedule. Prescription flea and worm treatments are available through our in-clinic pharmacy at reduced prices.
